Being well qualified, and possessing all the required skills is not sufficient for success. 1. Do your homework:

You mention loads of information in your resume, claim to know many things, show your keen interest in the organization, etc., but what when you are asked some questions related to the same, and you fail to answer. Thus, you need to do your homework. Keep your answers ready to justify your interest and skills. Know all the public information available about the organization you wish to work with.

2. Documents:

Keep all your documents handy. Your certificates, letters, salary slip, etc., should be with you in the interview. You should not start fidgeting when asked to produce the same. File it in a folder, in a systematic manner. Never forget to carry your pen in an interview. Keep 2-3 passport size photographs handy.

3. Communication:

If your job does not require you to speak in a particular language, you can speak in a language that you are comfortable with, and of course the one that your interviewer knows. Be confident and clear in your communication. However, do not sound arrogant or dominating. Listen to what the interviewer says, understand the question properly and then answer.

4. Dress:

Dress up well in your best formals. Shoes should be polished, hair properly combed, and your hands clean. Girls should avoid revealing outfits. Wear something that makes you look decent and sober.
